The Good-Buy Affair features our donation auction, which will start at approximately 4:30 pm or one hour after the close of the main auction, whichever is later. This interval will permit auction personnel to complete business transactions and will permit attendees to enjoy a supper break.
Donated items become the property of Michigan Antique Radio Club and will be disposed of as the club deems fit. The donation auction will be on a "cash on the barrelhead" basis - at the close of bidding, each item must be paid for at that time. No running totals will be kept.
The sequence and method of auction will be at the discretion of the auction personnel. In the past, the “table choice” method was utilized. In the “choice” method a number of items will be placed upon (and perhaps, under) a table or pallet. The winner bidder will be given the choice of any item in the lot at the bid price. The winning bidder may select as many items as he wishes at the bid price for each item. After the winning bidder has selected his choices, any other bidder may select an item at the bid price. If there are no takers at the bid price, the bidding will commence again and the process repeated until the table is empty. The bidding will then move to the next table. Large items will be sold individually.
As a courtesy to EXTRAVAGANZA personnel, please take all items with you. Abandoned items will be disposed of.
